Mosi-oa-Tunya — the smoke that thunders
Victoria Falls
Spanning more than 1.7 kilometres across the Zambezi River, Victoria Falls is one of the largest waterfalls on the planet and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
From the Zambian side at Livingstone you can walk to the very edge of the gorge during low water, or take a helicopter flight to truly appreciate the scale of the Falls.
The surrounding national parks offer game viewing, river cruises and adrenaline activities including bungee jumping and white-water rafting on the rapids below.
